1. Arrival/Departure via City Airport Train (Cat)

The City Airport Train (CAT) is probably the fastest way to travel to and from Vienna International Airport. The non-stop connection between Vienna International Airport and the city centre only takes 16 minutes and offers not just a fast connection but also the highest level of comfort. Famous sights such as St. Stephen's Cathedral or the Museum of Applied Arts are only a few minutes' walk from the Wien Mitte station.

In Wien Mitte, the access to the platform is located directly in "Wien Mitte - The Mall" and is easy to find thanks to extensive signposting.

2. Arrival/Departure via Suburban Trains

If you are planning to travel to/from Wien Mitte or Wien Praterstern, you can also use the suburban railway (S-Bahn). The S-Bahn line S7 operates every 30 minutes in both directions. The train ride takes between 25 and 30 minutes, depending on the location.

Every half hour to hour, destinations such as Wien Westbahnhof (via Vienna Central Station) can be reached in about 40 minutes, Wien Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz in about 20 minutes or Wien Donauzentrum (via Messezentrum and VIC) in about 40 minutes.
