1. Vienna film festival at Vienna's town hall square
65 days filled with music, opera and dance on the big screen: that's the summer film festival on Vienna's Rathausplatz. Every day top productions from all over the world await you, which you can watch under the open sky with free admission. Various food trucks with international snacks and meals will ensure your physical well-being.
The film festival takes place from the beginning of July to the beginning of September.
2. Summerstage in Vienna
The Summerstage at the Danube Canal in Vienna feels like the largest terrace in the country. Here, you can end the day with a cool drink or two and culinary delights. Sometimes there is even live music! The view of the Danube Canal from the Summerstage is also unique and makes the place not only a cosy one, but also a cool one.
The Summerstage is usually open from mid April to mid September.

Among the most beautiful Heurigen in this part of the 19th district of Vienna are the Heuriger Maly, Buschenschank Andreas Wagner and Heuriger Zum Berger.
Ausg’steckt is! If the Heurige is open, it can be identified by a bunch of pine branches at the front gate and by the word or sentence "ausg'steckt (is)". Ausg'steckt means "hung up" and refers to the hung up pine branches.
7. Stand-up paddling on the Old Danube in Vienna
